Upload a CSV

Like most people, you probably have data scattered across many files and sources. You can centralize your information in one place by moving it all into Dolphyn 🚚

You can upload different types of data files beyond just CSVs — you can also upload files of type: json, xlsx, tsv, and parquet.
You can upload a CSV to Dolphyn in 3 different ways:
1.From the sidebar — either by clicking Import or by clicking Add a page at the bottom and selecting Upload a file
2.From Data sources and select new page from the bottom of the list, or the New button on the right.
3.While working on a page in the workspace, you can open the / command in the editor and search for /upload.
1. From the sidebar
Uploading a CSV using the Import button on the sidebar or by clicking on Add a page -> Upload file is actually the same flow as importing notebooks into Dolphyn.
2 & 3. From data sources or via the / menu
Either create a new page in Data sources or in a page in the workspace, type /upload to drop in the file upload block.
From there:
1.Give your new data source a name, at the top left, for instance Orders CSV
2.Click on Required to pull up the file browser to find the CSV you'd like to upload. 
Working with CSVs
To visualize, clean and explore CSVs you can use a Table block or Chart block. If you'd like you can also use a code block to write python code to work with your csv file.
